The Bayfield Chamber of Commerce is looking for businesses and nonprofits in town to take part in its inaugural summer “Passport Program.”
The chamber will launch the program during a town block party on June 13, according to the town’s Facebook page.
Businesses and nonprofits must be up-to-date with their chamber membership to be eligible.
The first 25 participating entities will receive a stylized passport pamphlet with a bingo-like grid square, which will be given on a first-come, first-served basis, the page said.
There are 25 squares on the on the grid, representing 25 businesses. The chamber will provide stamps and ink pads to those participants, which will receive stamps if another business makes a purchase, signs up for a newsletter or visits their booth at the block party, according to the chamber’s website.
There will be monthly prizes for participants who tally a “bingo” or a blackout on their card.
