Durango artist Heather Freeman will present her first colorful abstract collection “Embracing Life,” at 6 p.m. Friday (March 11) in Studio 3 at the ArtRoom at the Smiley Building, 1309 East Third Ave.
Freeman aims to create paintings that celebrate the beauty of life. As part of a recent effort to bring more color into the world, she created "Embracing Life.“
“I’m very excited about the opportunity to show my new work,” Freeman said in a news release. “My purpose as an artist is to create art that has a positive impact in the world and I am grateful to be able to host an event which aligns so closely with my personal goals of promoting a happier healthier way of being.”
