First United Methodist Church of Durango will host a “Back to School” connect barbecue potluck immediately after the 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, service at the church in the Fellowship Hall and outdoor gazebo area, 2917 Aspen Drive.

The Student Ministries at FUMC (FUMC Kids, Souled Out Youth Ministry and Rooted College Ministry) will co-host the event.

The dinner will feature fun, fellowship and food for all ages. There will also be a bouncy house, face-painting, cornhole games and a snow cone machine. Burgers, hot dogs and drinks will be provided. Participants can bring a side dish or dessert to share.
