Letter writer’s ‘news straight from Russia’

In response to a letter writer in The Journal, calling Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky corrupt and a thug, he must get his news straight from Russia and U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert’s newsletters.

Russia invaded a Democratic and free country. It has killed thousands of Ukrainian citizens, pregnant women, the elderly and children. Ukraine is fighting a large monster set on wiping Ukraine off the map. We need to support Ukrainians’ fight for freedom. If not – sooner or later – we will be fighting for our freedom and all of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.

Supporters of Boebert don’t seem to realize how wrong she is on almost everything that comes out of her mouth, like churches should be telling the government what to do, not the other way around.

I guess the letter writer and Boebert should read the Constitution and history books of those who fought for freedom. If it were not for the French, when we were fighting for our freedom, we would all be British subjects.
