With the capacity to love your pet as a member of the family comes the necessity to grieve when that beloved one dies.

The death of a pet is, without a doubt, a significant experience, particularly for children and elders. And the holidays may be a difficult time for those experiencing grief of any kind.

The Grief Center of Southwest Colorado offers bereavement services for those experiencing the loss of a loved one, including a beloved four-legged companion. Our therapists are specialists in the field, including having training specifically in pet loss through The Center of Loss and Life Transitions.
