Seniors Outdoors announces activities
Seniors Outdoors will host these activities:
A bike ride for intermediate road cyclists will take place at 9:30 a.m. Monday. This is a no-drop, social ride of 16 miles from Home Depot to Bread. Participants should meet in the south parking lot at Home Depot. A climb of Star and Madden peaks in the La Plata Mountains will take place at 8 a.m. Tuesday. The climb will be weather dependent. The cost to carpool is $3. To RSVP, call Bob Thompson at 382-9271.
The Wednesday Wanderers will hike the Carbon Junction Trail at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday. Dogs are not allowed. Nonmembers should RSVP to Dee Rodman at 382-9600.
A hike of “Larkspur Lane” will take place Thursday. Early turn-backs and dogs will be allowed. The cost to carpool is $4. To RSVP, call Clark Lagow at 259-9337 or email clagow@rmi.net.
A backpack trip on the Colorado Trail will take place from June 6-8. The trip will start at Stony Pass and cover 33 miles. To RSVP, email John Martin at mudpatch22@gmail.com or call 749-4056.
