Pine River Centennial Rotary Club will be hosting a young lady from France for the coming school year as part of the Rotary International Youth Exchange program. She will arrive in August and will attend Bayfield High School. We seriously need a host famiiy for her, someone in Bayfield School District, hopefully with their own teenagers. Families usually host from August to Thanksgiving break, then another family hosts until Spring break, and a third family hosts until the exchange student goes home in June.

Any Bayfield or Ignacio High School students interested in going to another country with Rotary Youth Exchange also should call me for information on costs, requirements, and how to apply. We sent an Ignacio student to Thailand a few years ago. Our last couple outbound students and our outbounder for the coming school year are from Durango. We'd love to have someone from the Pine River Valley for 2017-18.
