Durango Botanical Society will hold an orientation for community members interested in becoming docents at 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, in Program Room 1 at Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Ave.
Docents at the botanical society learn and teach about plants specific to the area and maintain the demonstration garden behind the library. Three training sessions will be held in April and May.
