AboutFace Aesthetics presents funds to firefighters

The medical spa raised money from a June 26 open house

AboutFace Aesthetics, a medical spa in Durango, with several other local businesses, held a summer open house and silent auction June 26, which raised $1,400 for Durango Fire Protection District. On July 31, Carrie Martinez, a nurse with AboutFace, and Margaret Leeder, who manages Divine Silhouettes, presented a $1,325 check to deputy chief Randy Black and fire chief Hal Doughty in front of the AboutFace storefront at 555 Rivergate Lane.

AboutFace owner Georgia Stanley and her team thanks DFPD staff for their hard work and keeping the community safe and appreciate those who attended the event and participated in the silent auction.
