Mountain Middle School students in Anna Layden’s eighth-grade humanities will host their “New Americans” exhibition from 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday, March 9, at the school, 108 W. 31st St.
During this project, students learned about the history of immigration to America from 1600 to present day. They will present a 35-minute documentary about immigration stories, including interviews with several English as a Second Language students from the Durango Adult Education Center and students’ family immigration stories.
