San Juan Regional Medical Center providing COVID-safe care for all patients

With recent record numbers of COVID-19 cases in New Mexico, San Juan Regional Medical Center reassures the community that it is ready to provide safe, quality care to meet patients’ needs. Resources are not overwhelmed. Providers are currently caring for some COVID-19 patients, but the number fluctuates daily and is within capacity.

Anyone who needs medical attention is encouraged to seek care. Patients should not hesitate to come to the main hospital or any San Juan Health Partners clinics. COVID-safe practices and strictly enforced.

Mandatory masks are required for all patients, visitors and staff members upon entrance of buildings. Screenings, including temperature checks, for symptoms and exposure to COVID-19 are required. The number of outpatients inside facilities at one time is limited. Social distancing is required in waiting areas and consultation and exam rooms. Designated respiratory and non-respiratory floors keep patient populations separate. Robust cleaning and sanitizing are practiced.
