The first Womenade fundraiser was held at the Rochester Hotel. We would like to thank our dedicated donors whose generosity gave one-time grants to eight women in our community.
We would also like to thank the Rochester Hotel for providing us with a welcoming venue for each Womenade event. Additionally, we thank the Durango Area Association of Realtors for the grant, which helped women who needed funds to cover rent. Finally, we thank the Women’s Resource Center.
Womenade is a grass-roots organization that provides one-time grants to women in our community who are experiencing an unexpected financial hardship. Applicants must be self-sufficient, and the grants help prevent the downward spiral that could make it impossible to recover.
Celebrate Women’s History Month with Womenade from 5:30 to 7 p.m. March 25 at the Rochester Hotel. We hope you can join us.
