The bag-banners, by their labeling of plastic bags as “single-use ,” are trying to create bias and prejudice against one of the most reused products ever invented.
They brainwash the young school-age children to hate these very useful bags as dangerous to the environment, After these children have been indoctrinated to their liking, they put them up in front of officials to plead their case. They use these innocent children much like ISIS used children as human shields.
Garbage bags are single-use. Newspaper bags are single-use. Dog poop bags are single-use. Yard waste bags are single-use. The versatile plastic grocery bag is very seldom only used just once.
Maybe if the “banners” really cared about the environment, they could suggest more uses for these multiple-use bags to replace the wasteful use of the other true single-use bags.
Can we go back to educating instead of indoctrinating? Truthfulness would really be welcomed by many of us.
