Local nonprofit Heart Safe La Plata will offer basic first-aid and CPR trainings in November at Durango Fire and Rescue Station 1, 142 Sheppard Drive:
A basic first-aid class will be held at 3 p.m. and an adult CPR class will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
An adult, child and infant CPR class for health care providers will be held at 6 p.m. Nov. 14.
Groups of 10 or more may schedule private classes.
