Friday was Community Appreciation Day at First National Bank of Durango in Bayfield, with bratwursts and hot dogs, cookies from Baked, and entertainment by the Bar D Wranglers.
The group performs every evening through Labor Day at their chuckwagon north of Durango, and will return to Bayfield on Friday, Sept. 29 for Bayfield Heritage Days in their annual performance to benefit the Pine River Valley Heritage Society Museum.
