While we continue to look for ways of slowing COVID-19, some of it just doesn’t make any sense. We get excited about masks and distancing and ignore the vehicles coming to Durango every day from New Mexico. Most of these are residents of San Juan County, a hot spot of COVID-19 activity. These people come and go every day. Meanwhile, Durango COVID-19 numbers continue to climb. Maybe we should be checking IDs at restaurants instead of getting all excited about the few who don’t wear a face mask.
