Paulette Church will speak to a virtual meeting of Rotary Club of Durango about fire mitigation at Falls Creek Ranch at 6 p.m. Tuesday via Zoom.
Church will cover topics including community fire breaks, hazardous ignition zone work around homes, and firewise building materials and practices during construction. She will share ways to keep volunteers motivated to continue annual mitigation work in the Wildfire Urban Interface.
Virtual visitors using Zoom are welcome.
