“Breaking up with Sugar” rescheduled at Pine River Library

Because of instructor illness, the program “Breaking up with Sugar” will be rescheduled for 6 to 7 p.m. Jan. 31 at Pine River Library, 395 Bayfield Center Drive, Bayfield.

Local dietitian and health coach Fran Sutherlin, M.S., R.D., will explain how sugar affects the body, the three key steps to breaking up with sugar and the importance of creating a supportive detoxifying environment that will help you feel better, improve your energy, sleep better and reduce pain and disease-causing inflammation in your body.

The workshop will include recipes for healthy snacks that can naturally curb your sweet cravings, and a question-and-answer session. You’ll also learn how to make your own naturally sweet chocolate “ice cream” using frozen bananas as a base.
