The Keller Williams Realty Southwest Associates office will participate in community service projects from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Durango and Mancos for the franchise’s 10th annual RED Day.
RED, which stands for Renew, Energize and Donate, is an initiative held by Keller Williams Realty associates to benefit local communities. Southwest associates will volunteer at Durango Community Shelter and Durango/La Plata Senior Center, and conduct cleanup projects on Highway 3 and in the Mancos Creative District in Mancos.
Community service work includes:
Cleaning up, landscaping the grounds, and gutting and cleaning the shared kitchen at Durango Community Shelter.Fixing landscaping and planting entry-area flower pots for the summer at Durango/La Plata Senior Center.A clean-up project on Colorado Highway 3 from Sonic to the South Camino del Rio intersection.Cleaning up and organizing the new space behind the bakery in the Mancos Creative District.For more information, call RED Day coordinator Geoff Overington at 749-8903.
