Congratulations to Bill on his retirement. I have always enjoyed Bill’s editorials and the work he and Megan have done. I often chuckle at the letters that claim the Herald is a “leftist” paper. One wonders what those letters writers would say if the Herald really was “leftist.”
I have only met Bill once, many years ago. But I know that we also once corresponded about our mutual appreciation for the 1961-62 Ferrari 156, “sharknose” grand prix car.
Lastly, there is nothing like the print Herald at breakfast. I’m old and I want to hold a newspaper, not a screen.
