Southwest Colorado Small Business Development Center will sponsor a full-day “Introduction to QuickBooks Desktop” workshop from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, at TBK Bank, 259 W. Ninth St.
This workshop, taught by Laura E. Hokanson, CPA and certified QuickBooks pro-adviser, will help small business owners understand how much money they are bringing in and how they are spending it. The workshop is designed for business owners who are not accountants. Hokanson will explain how the software works and how it can help manage the finances of a business and save time.
The workshop costs $65 for Chamber of Commerce or Local First members and $70 for non-members. Register online at bit.ly/2KcZmgI.
A one-hour lunch break will take place from noon to 1 p.m. Participants can bring a brown bag lunch or plan to have lunch downtown. Participants should park on the street. The lot is reserved for bank customers.
