The San Juan Mountains Association third annual holiday tree sale is underway in the parking lot of the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad at Camino del Rio and College Drive.
Proceeds from the sale of trees and wreaths at the Silver Bells Trees for Conservation Christmas Tree Lot benefit the association’s education and volunteer programs.
The lot is open from noon to 6 p.m. Sundays through Fridays and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays through Dec. 21.
The association also is seeking volunteers to help with the sale.
People interested in volunteering can sign up at the association’s website, sjma.org. Click on “Calendar” and then “Silver Bells Trees.”
