According to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention data, there have been approximately 150,000 deaths since March 1, so simple math determines a daily average of more than 1,000 deaths per day.
What should be alarming is the increasing death rate in the early stages of the pandemic. Even more alarming is what could happen. Look at Belgium: Their worst month was April, when they averaged 229 daily deaths for a country of 11 million. That would, on a per capita basis, be equivalent to approximately 6,900 daily deaths in the United States. The main reason we did not reach those daily death rates was likely because of our overall, comparatively low population density and widespread social-distancing actions imposed by various governmental agencies.
The real question is, what would the current death tally be had mainstream nonsense not been imposed?
