I’ve been looking at all of the local ballot issues for school funding, airport funding, and road/bridges.
Why do all of these issues need to use property tax increases as the only way to fund them?
Why can’t the sales tax be increased to cover roads/bridges and the airport?
Tourists use roads and bridges and the airport, and could help fund them through a sales tax.
