The Hillcrest putting area and golf course won’t look quite this green Friday, but it will be open for business, the club said Monday.
Hillcrest Golf Club has pushed its opening day up to Friday, the club announced today in an email.
The course will open at 10 a.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
On Friday, Feb. 27, the course will open for the season, the club said.
The club had announced earlier this month it would open March 2 but decided to move the opening ahead by 10 days. Last year, the course opened Feb. 14.
As of Monday morning, the National Weather Service’s prediction for Durango for Friday is mostly sunny with a high of 59.
Memberships, coupon books and more will be available at the pro shop, which will open at 9:30 a.m. each day.
