Rising health care costs are hurting hardworking Coloradans and our small businesses. Colorado needs a health care system that works for the people, not insurance companies. That is the kind of system we will have with Jared Polis as governor.
Jared recently selected his running mate, former State Representative Dianne Primavera. Dianne is a four-time cancer survivor. She has experienced the sadness, anxiety, frustration, and anger provoked by the diagnosis. She is not alone. One in seven women in Colorado will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. Those are startling statistics.
While serving as a State Representative, Dianne chaired a number of committees with a focus on health care. She understands the challenges. Jared has devised a bold, cost-effective plan to improve health care for Coloradans, which addresses the challenges to rural communities that lack access to clinics and medical providers and the need to protect individuals with preexisting conditions. This November, I’m voting for the Polis-Primavera ticket. I’m voting for leaders who will fight for the people of Colorado and their right to affordable, high quality health care.
