La Plata Quilters Guild will meet at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave.
Guest speaker will be Janna Thomas, quilter and developer of the Bloc Loc rulers, who will demonstrate how to sew quilt blocks with Bloc Loc rulers.
The meeting is free and open to all.
Thomas is also scheduled to teach a class Friday.
