The Durango Chamber of Commerce will hold its Tech-Knowledge 2018 conference from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at the DoubleTree Hotel.
Michael Genest, a 37-year veteran of NASA’s human spaceflight program, will be the keynote speaker.
The original tech conference was in response to chamber member feedback via market research projects with Fort Lewis College. Now in its fourth year, the conference has become an event where business owners and employees can attend and learn about the latest in technology for small business.
The format for the conference will be morning breakout sessions with a variety of topics to choose from. During lunch, participants will hear from the keynote speaker. Wrapping up the day, there will be a panel discussion and then a “social hour” for networking.
Morning breakout sessions will include “Leveraging Facebook,” “Update on Mobile Broadband and High Speed Internet” and “4 Brilliant Apps Every Small Business Should Use.”
Registration is currently underway and costs $70 for chamber members and $95 for nonmembers. Anyone interested in attending can register online at https://events.bizzabo.com/206518.
