Members of Bayfield's Young American Football League teams show their purple pride in Friday's Homecoming parade. Three of the local teams - third, fourth and fifth grades - are moving into the area YAFL semi-final games tomorrow.
Three of the local Young American Football League teams are moving into semi-final play tomorrow at Doc Jones Field in Farmington or in Kirtland.
The third-grade team defeated the Farmington Panthers and plays Bloomfield at 11 a.m. tomorrow. The fourth-grade team defeated Bloomfield and will face Durango at 3 p.m. Those games are in Farmington. The fifth graders defeated Bloomfield and take on the Aztec Tigers at 11 a.m. in Kirtland.
The sixth-grade team lost to Aztec and is out of post-season play for this season.
