DeNova Health Advocacy owner Missy Rodey, an independent patient advocacy practice, has earned the designation of certified senior adviser after completing a comprehensive course through the Society of Certified Senior Advisors.
The CSA certification compliments her health care experience and allows her to address the La Plata County senior community.
Services include supporting communication among client and provider, exploring treatment options, reviewing and helping manage medications, preparing for and accompanying the client to medical appointments, identifying and making appropriate resource referrals, providing hospital inpatient liaison, coordinating transitions of care, assisting with end-of-life planning, and facilitating medical tourism.
