The Durango High School Native American Club will host an art contest with a submission deadline of 4 p.m. Friday.
The art contest is district-wide for Native American-themed drawings. Drawings can be a hard copy of any medium on 8.5 X 11 paper that can be scanned and transformed into a computer graphic. Drawings may also be digital art submitted by email to ebegay@durangoschools.org.
Native American Club students will choose one drawing/graphic image from all submitted entries to be used on the official powwow flyer. The club has designated a student officer position, Creative Design, who will lead the creation of the powwow flyer.
