Historic and scenic roads training offered Thursday

The Colorado Scenic and Historic Byways Program is offering “New Insights on Management and Safety for Colorado’s Most Distinctive Roads.” This free one-day historic and scenic roads training course will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday in Durango. The Colorado Scenic and Historic Byways Program, through the Colorado Department of Transportation, is offering “New Insights on Management and Safety for Colorado’s Most Distinctive Roads.”

Dan Marriott, the principal and founder of Paul Daniel Marriott + Associates, a historic landscape preservation planning office, will teach the class.
