The front hill to Fort Lewis College (East Eighth Avenue) will be closed for construction Wednesday through July 31, pending completion. The project will include erosion repairs providing slope stabilization and drainage improvements.
The road will reopen for the Fourth of July to help ease traffic for events. The road will be open from the evening of July 3 through the morning of July 8.
