The Kiwanis Club of Durango will meet at noon Thursday at Durango Community Recreation Center, 2700 Main Ave.
Former history professor at Fort Lewis College and avid Chicago Cubs fan Duane Smith will speak about baseball.
Participants have the option to purchase lunch for $13 or a beverage for $3.
