This past Memorial Day, Colleen and crew from April’s Garden, 2075 Main Ave., stepped up without hesitation, along with one of their distributors, Lenny from Amarosa Farms in Miami, and donated five dozen beautiful red roses for the 10 a.m. Memorial Day service at the park.
The roses, with the names of the Colorado soldiers who lost their lives in Afghanistan and other recent conflicts attached to the stems, were placed at the base of the Vietnam Monument when those names were called out, by those who were in attendance. Other roses were placed by those who called out the names of family members or friends who died in service to their country. Everyone’s participation and time to remember the fallen is appreciated.
Sincerely,
Vietnam Era Veterans Association
