San Juan Mountains Association will host its annual volunteer and member recognition picnic at 5 p.m. Thursday at Junction Creek group campground.
The event will celebrate volunteers and members who contribute to public lands. Members and volunteers are invited to attend with a guest.
A social time will begin at 5 p.m. with dinner from 6 to 6:30 p.m. Burgers, brats, salads, roasted corn and cobblers will be served. Acknowledgments will take place after dinner.
