While I feel honored to soon fill a seat on the 9-R school board I want to first acknowledge the great work of Stephanie Moran.
Through this election process, I have been able to observe Stephanie at work on the school board. I have noticed that she puts time into research and seeks to only make decisions that are backed by strong evidence.
She is kind, respectful and cares for the community. She has shown a strong dedication to our school district and to students in her many years as an educator.
I want to personally thank Stephanie for her years of service to the Durango 9-R school district.
You have been a great leader and set a path toward an even brighter future for 9-R.
