St. Columba Parish will offer the education program “Bridge Over Troubled Waters” at 12:30 p.m. Sunday in the Parish Center, 1800 East Second Ave.
Dr. Matthew Clark, a local internist, pediatrician and volunteer health columnist for The Durango Herald, will explore the potential role of evolution and genetics as well as potential environmental variables influencing human anxiety.
Various approaches will be examined to reduce the burden of anxiety.
VATICAN CITY – Pope Francis has accepted the resignation of his ambassador to the United States who was behind Francis’ controversial meeting with Kim Davis, the Kentucky clerk who went to jail rather than comply with a court order to issue same-sex marriage licenses.
Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano, 75, had submitted his resignation in January after he reached the mandatory retirement age for bishops.
