3:49 a.m. A man was tearing down street signs and yelling in the 500 block of Animas View Drive. Police made an arrest.

1:59 p.m. A small rockslide was reported in the 5800 block of U.S. Highway 550 near the Iron Horse Inn in north Durango.

6:37 p.m. Juveniles were throwing apples at deer along the Animas River Trail behind Durango High School.

Saturday

2:16 a.m. Someone was running in the middle of the road in the 200 block of Camino del Rio.

2:40 p.m. Four people were using a propane torch to do drugs at the Durango Skate Park, 1300 Roosa Ave.

7:12 p.m. A cub and a deer in the middle of the road were causing a traffic hazard in the 1000 block of Junction Creek Road (County Road 204).

7:35 p.m. A driver of a semitrailer hit a light pole in the 1400 block of Main Avenue.

11:43 p.m. A man reported that a mountain lion was chasing him in the 200 block of Sage View Street in the Three Springs subdivision.

Friday

8:36 a.m. A man reported his vehicle stolen overnight at the Royal Motel, 2068 Main Ave.

10:56 a.m. Two people reported having a knife pulled on them, according to a report from Ella Vita Court.

10:57 a.m. A driver in a white Camaro was driving about 100 mph, according to a report in the 20000 block of U.S. Highway 160. An arrest was made.

8:36 p.m. A woman’s ex-boyfriend tried to hit her with his car at Walmart.

Durango Fire

Firefighters and medics responded to 52 calls, including six traffic crashes; a structure fire at Terrace Gardens Condominiums, 1135 Florida Road; and a brush fire in the 3700 block of U.S. Highway 550.
