La Plata County Humane Society will host the 17th annual Adopt-a-Thon from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. May 31 and June 1 at the Humane Society, 1111 S. Camino del Rio.
The adopt-a-thon will feature reduced adoption fees of $10 for adult cats and $50 for adult dogs, an assortment of sales at the thrift store and food at a concession stand, where burgers, brats and vegetarian options donated by Sunnyside Farms Market and beverages donated by Coca-Cola will be available.
Durango’s XROCK 105.3FM, KIQX 101.3FM, KRSJ 100.5FM and KKDG 99xFM will be live and on-site at the event.
