DFPD rivals services in major cities

As a member of this community, small-business owner and a volunteer firefighter, I thought it was important for me to share some thoughts in regards to the upcoming election. There has been information distributed that the current fire department’s response time and quality of service for people in need has diminished since all of the fire departments were consolidated. I believe it is important that the community know the true facts. The response time is faster than it has ever been since records have been kept for fire service in our area. The quality of service and the equipment that has been provided to the department by the current leadership is nothing short of first rate. Our small town has a fire department that is set up to respond as well as that in any major city. Our department has almost 200 members, which means that we have the personnel and training to respond and aid those in need better than most other towns larger than our own. I am asking that you help keep the department strong by electing the following candidates who will continue to support the shift and volunteer firefighters. Please help elect Patricia Zink, Kathleen Morris and Wayne Barger.
