Hospice of Mercy will offer a weekly grief support group from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Mondays beginning Sept. 12. Participants will explore the processes and experiences of loss, while fostering understanding and support.

The San Juan Basin Health WIC Program, part of Colorado’s Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children, will offer a debit-style card called eWIC for food purchases.
Families participating in WIC programs in La Plata and Archuleta counties will receive eWIC cards beginning Friday. The cards will allow participants to purchase as many or as few WIC foods as they need each time they shop.
