Throughout my professional life, I have served our nation while working at the pleasure of elected officials, and I truly believe there are a few core qualities that everyone should look for in their elected public administrators.
First, they should look for balance in the leader’s ability to fairly represent all of their constituents.
Next, they should always show good judgment in the form of rational thinking and decision-making.
Lastly, but most importantly, officials needs to be prepared to take full accountability for their decisions and actions. It is irrefutable that Bobby Lieb epitomizes balance, judgment and accountability. With those character traits, combined in totality, you have a true leader who you can trust.
