Lecture at Fort Lewis College to offer tips for giving a good presentation

The Life-Long Learning Lecture Series will offer a free workshop, “How to Create an Engaging Oral Presentation,” from 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday in Noble Hall, Room 130, at Fort Lewis College, 1000 Rim Drive.

The lecture will be given by Deborah E. Lycan, director of the biochemistry and molecular biology program at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon. She will discuss how to organize presentation material, boring vs. interesting talks and how to use PowerPoint effectively for presentations.
