8:21 a.m. Someone reported a man sleeping in a corner between Kroegers and City Market.

9:42 a.m. Someone was in the Police Department lobbying in reference to his ankle monitor.

11:56 a.m. A wedding ring was lost in Buckley Park.

2:21 p.m. A man was arrested for urinating on the street near East Third Avenue and East 15th Street.

4:36 p.m. Verbal warnings were given to people in homeless camps near the Durango Tech Center.

7:35 p.m. A parent reported that a man tried to get his children to unlock vehicle doors in the Walgreen’s parking lot, 2701 Main Ave.

Saturday

2:45 a.m. An arrest was made after a call about a loud party in the 2900 block of Richard Drive.

3:14 a.m. Two men were arguing at Denny’s Restaurant, 666 Camino del Rio, and three men refused to leave.

8:16 a.m. An unattended black and gray backpack was leaning against a stop sign at East Third Avenue and East 10th Street.

9:45 a.m. A woman was reported holding a yard sale in front of Three Peaks Deli and Grill, 2411 Main Ave.

11:23 a.m. Neighbor’s trash was spread onto yard by a bear in the 2100 block of Eastlawn Avenue.

5:43 p.m. A U-Haul truck was parked in the 300 block of East Third Avenue for four days.

Sunday

12:35 a.m. People outside the Police Department want to know where to sleep outside.

8:12 a.m. A homeowner was saving parking spots with orange cones near East Fourth Avenue and East Eighth Street.

9:18 p.m. An injured deer was reported in the eastbound lane in 1300 block Camino del Rio.

Monday

12:46 a.m. A woman was screaming and trying to get into other people’s tents at United Campground of Durango, 1322 Animas View Drive.

2:10 p.m. About 14 people, including juveniles, were in the river near Bennett Open Space with open containers.

5:50 p.m. A woman was filling small aluminum water bottles with camp fuel in the 700 block of East Second Avenue.

6:23 p.m. A side window was smashed out on police car 231 at the Durango Police Department, 990 East Second Ave.

10:36 p.m. Someone was throwing rocks at a residence at 1206 Florida Road.

11:10 p.m. A man was arrested after he locked himself in a bathroom at south City Market. He had refused to leave.

Durango Fire

Firefighters and medics responded to 77 calls between 7 a.m. Thursday through 10:12 p.m. Monday, including a structure fire on La Posta Canyon Road (County Road 213), several reports of smoke outside, a water rescue at Santa Rita Park and several people with breathing problems.
