House District 59 state Rep. Barbara McLachlan will be at Animas High School from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday to provide a legislative update to constituents about issues that affect education in our state and region.
As a retired English and journalism teacher, McLachlan is passionate about education. She will share information about bills being introduced in the Education Committee, of which she is chairwoman, and the Rural Affairs & Agriculture Committee, which she sits on.
AHS students, staff, families and friends are all encouraged to attend.
