This was not a rational letter. It was a hate piece, bashing our president, spewing lies and not worthy of print.
I appreciate all opinions, respect First Amendment rights and have no issue with comments toward any member of our government; however, this is an egregious misuse of a public forum and ranks right up there with “I’ve thought about blowing up the White House.”
It does nothing to bridge our current ideological divide, seems to have no point or alternative position and further polarizes the issues by spreading false accusations and ugly words. “Trump will start a war” ranks right up there with Chicken Little and the sky is falling. I won’t spend the effort here to counter his ridiculous allegations and thoughts. It is not worth the time.
You should have exercised your right to eliminate tasteless and libelous material, but that doesn’t seem to be within this paper’s one-sided standard. Shame on the Herald.
