In reference to Fred Rusk (Letters, Herald, Nov. 19) quoting George Carlin, “Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups,” I would say, “The shoe is on the other foot.” The Democrats picked a lying, corrupt, sociopath as their candidate and with all the voter fraud still couldn’t get her elected. “Stupid is as stupid does.”
The American working class are sick and tired of elitists telling them how to live their lives. The politically correct culture and identity politics are now dead! Americans merely stood up to the Washington D.C. money laundering scheme and voted an outsider into the White House. I’d say that’s smart. Never underestimate the power of the American working class.
I would like to personally thank the Democratic Party and the mainstream media for exposing themselves over the last eight years. This elitist and arrogant attitude helped us put an outsider and business man in the White House. Please don’t change. You can help us secure the White House in 2020.
Liberals seem to live in the theoretical world that ultimately accomplishes nothing. Additionally, we would like to see Democrats stop categorizing people by class and race. Most of us stopped doing that years ago, if we ever did. We’re all Americans and humans!
We can now start the grueling task of repairing the economy, infrastructure, education, cutting regulations and putting policies in place that let the American ingenuity and spirit loose by bringing manufacturing and jobs back to this great nation so everyone can have an opportunity for the American Dream. It is time for the adults to make difficult decisions and begin to repair all the damage done to this country. We have almost $20 trillion of unsecured debt, crumbling infrastructure, record high inflation, actual unemployment of about 22 percent, failing inner-city schools, unprecedented crime rates (Chicago), a war on our police officers and uncontrolled mass immigration just to name a few.
Everyone is welcome to get on board, so lets get to work and “make America great again.”
