Pete Deren, a fisheries biologist with Colorado Parks and Wildlife, empties a net full of brown and rainbow trout into a tank on the Animas River on Friday. The fish were released from 32nd Street to Walmart. The rainbow trout were stocked to offset the effects of water being pumped to Lake Nighthorse.
