Paper should call letter writer a liar

In response to the letter “

A simple fact-check of Mike Sigman’s letter would illustrate my point. By simply reading the AP and Washington Post articles, it becomes clear that the diplomat “downgrades” did actually happen and thus are not fake news.

It really happened, Mike, even if Faux News says it’s fake.

There were no “actual facts” left out of the story for some sort of nefarious reason.

The point of the article was to illustrate the damage this illegitimate president is doing to the relationship with an ally by this downgrade without notice.

To Mr. Sigman, I say, please try reading all the words in an article and it might make more sense to you. Just because you don’t agree doesn’t make it fake.

To the Herald, I ask, why must you print letters that are no more than an advancement of the nutty, right-wing ideas like “the liberal media”?

Mr. Sigman writes things that are easily disproven yet you print his nonsense without even a response. If you won’t respond, I will.

Stop the lying, Mr. Sigman.
